Hello everyone, today IBM has published a new vulnerability in the IBM i Management Central.
As a reminder, Management Central allows you to manage one or more systems from a single core system.
The module works by groups of similar or related end systems, making it easy to manage, plan or monitor your systems.
Today’s vulnerability concerns the risk of system port denial of service due to the deserialization of unreliable data within Central Management.
This flaw carries a high CVSS risk of 7.5, and could enable a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code or some other form of core system degradation.
To correct this vulnerability, simply apply the following PTF patches to your IBM i
